Content warning: this game deals with loss, grief and painful memories.

Some memories never go away.

Errata is a solo journaling RPG. You write the worst moment of a character's life in 15 to 20 lines and try to change it, one line at a time. Each change calls for a d6 roll and creates consequences: sometimes they help, sometimes they reveal things that were always there. Every alteration leaves permanent scars. When the memory reaches 30 lines, the game ends, and what remains is the version that survived.

How it works

- Create the character and choose an Anchor, something that can never change.

- Write the First Draft, one sentence per line.

- Revise one line, roll 1d6 and write what changes.

- Keep one Scar from every revision.

- Finish when you reach 30 lines and answer the closing questions.

You need: something to write with, somewhere to write, and a six-sided die.

Players: 1

Playtime: about 45 to 90 minutes

Includes: an A4 PDF with the rules on one page and a full example of play on the back, ready to print.
